Hampton Inn McPherson

When we arrived at 7:30 ish no one in site a customer standing at the counter she told us she was waiting to check in and no one had waited on her. We stood there for 10 minutes then another guest walked in to check in and still no one at counter. I picked up the phone that was on a table in the seating section and dialed 0 no one picked up finally a worker came from the office. At this time 2 more customers had walked in to check in the lobby was full. When it was our turn to check in she was having issues so she went over to the door she walked out from and tried to get in and failed so she knocked and another employee walked out in every day clothes and she helped her with the computer issue. She handed me our keys without any explanation of where how and when.. meaning how to get to our room what time breakfast was the following morning. Not impressed with the customer service…. The room was ok the shower doors were gross not to mention the hair inside the shower not sure if it had been cleaned from the day before?? Our son came into McPherson and texted us which hotel were we staying at told him mind you this is 6:00 am I told him when he arrived I’d be down to meet him at the door as any happy mother to see her son would greet her son . The look from the desk clerk when I greeted him at the entrance doors you could see it on her face as if we had commented a crime. No good morning nothing . Just not happy with the entire staff at all . You may want to give them ALL a taking to, regarding customer service!! I’d highly recommend it.

Breakfast was hot and fresh. The hotel is located very close to one of the main roads making travel easy. Though our room was close to the elevator, it was very quiet.

We absolutely loved it. It felt absolutely heart warming when we walked in and checked in. The desk Clark was very nice. We was welcome with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed. It was the best Hotel we ever stayed at. Pepper was very nice and very clean. The very best.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, good breakfast and clean comfortable room

Room was comfortable. Clean. Breakfast selection was good with fresh fruits. And i liked it was open early.
